I usually lean toward photographic covers, but I'm happy to consider other types. The hero in my book is in his 30's, an Idaho State Trooper, and a single dad. The heroine is also in her 30's and a newspaper copyeditor. The mood has to fit a sweet, clean romance. I would like the cover to depict realistic people, they don't have to look like movie stars. The feel can tend toward casual, playful is fine, but the story is not a comedy. Some additional info that may offer ideas: The story has a rural, mountain-type setting in northern Idaho, USA. There are two 10 year old boys in the story. There are also some Suffolk sheep, so if a few sheep could be depicted somewhere in the background it would be good.
