I'm a best-selling puzzle book author who has sold more than two million books from major publishers (Simon & Schuster, McGraw-Hill) and my own publishing company (Funster). I've used 99designs to create covers for five other books that have cumulatively sold more than 129,000 copies.

This book contains 101 professionally designed crossword puzzles. The puzzles are EASY and LARGE PRINT.

People who want fun brain exercises with large print puzzles that everyone can solve. Most of the customers are older and in North America.

Be sure you read and follow all of the details in this brief. The winning design will be a rare one that understands the requirements of this book cover. Most of my customers come to Amazon knowing what they want- in this case, large print easy crossword puzzles. As a result, the cover needs to do all of the following: 1. Communicate clearly that the book has 101 easy large print crossword puzzles (see the front cover description). 2. Look professional, like it is from a major publisher. 3. Grab attention as an online thumbnail and be attractive and pleasing. The puzzles in this book are easy and should not be intimidating, so I want the cover to have a very friendly, happy feel. Perhaps a "life is good" vibe. Maybe a special (but readable) font could be used. From my past experience having book covers designed, I know that the winning design will accomplish my very specific requirements but have something extra. This "something extra" will make the cover stand out while still being simple and professional. This cover is similar to designing product packaging, perhaps more than the book covers for other authors. The deliverable will include your SOURCE file(s). I will need to be able to change your source file using Adobe Creative Cloud software. Your file will be a spread with the back cover, spine, and front cover.

This design should not be a derivative of any other puzzle book cover. Clipart and fonts should be from: https://stock.adobe.com https://fonts.adobe.com If it seems particularly important (like for a really impressive font), I am willing to consider and pay for other sources of clipart and fonts but they must be clearly and easily licensable for unlimited commercial use. Don't use "free" websites with clipart or fonts. Don't put any other type of puzzle on the cover (no jigsaw puzzle pieces, for example).
