A future history of the 21st century (subtititle: How we overcame the crisis of civilization)
Biografía del autor
I have been writing for 10+ years on the topics of political philosophy, environmentalism and political economy, both as a journalist and as an academic writer (researcher). I hold degrees in sociology, political philosophy and applied linguistics. This is the English translation of my first book (https://www.amazon.it/Secolo-Decisi…B07KLCRYQP). Please note that I hate the original italian cover, which was chosen by my italian publisher (so please nothing like that this time).
Descripción del libro
It is a social and economic history of the 21st century told from the perspective of someone who lives at the turn of the 22nd century.
Here is a description from the backcover text:
At the turn of the 22nd century, human beings are living in the most prosperous moment in history. The many crises that troubled them at the dawn of the millennium are a distant memory, the economy exists in balance with the environment, and work has become a personal choice.
But how did we get here? How did we solve the great problems of the contemporary world, from climate change to the labor market crisis, from the gaping inequalities in wealth distribution to the spreading new populisms and nationalisms?
Drawing from a broad range of academic sources while using an accessible writing style, Tabellini offers a vision of a prosperous future with its roots firmly in the present and its branches always in the realm of possibility.
Público al que se apunta
Based on the public of the Italian version, it will be mostly educated, young to middle-aged people. The book is written in a neutral English aimed to anyone in the world who can understand the language.

Necesidades de diseño
I would like something minimalist, stylish and clean. Better with a uniform, one-color background (see examples attached).
Something that gives the idea of the content of the book without using too many colors or details (see attached examples of book covers I like).
Since one of the main themes of the book is environmentalism, some use of green could be good, but it is not a requirement.
Lo que debe evitarse
The cover needs to look like a non-fiction book cover.
Important update: Many people submitted designs that include stylized people. I would be happy to receive designs that explore different ideas.
