Cómo christopher.bennem comenzó su viaje en logo y paquete de imagen corporativa
¿Cómo se te conoce?
¿Cuál es el eslogan de tu compañía?
"Reconnect. Rekindle. Recharge." NOTE: we do NOT think this slogan would necessarily be present in the main logo, but would be nice to include perhaps in web banner or Facebook header.
Cuéntanos a qué tipo de público quieres llegar
Rentable lake cottage - long term, we may turn this into a Bed & Breakfast serving meals and branded food products (like apple butter, cider, etc.) We are targeting an upscale, sophisticated audience who are looking for a unique, wine country experience.
¿A qué sector dirías que pertenece tu empresa?
Viajes y hotelería
¿Qué colores quieres que tenga tu diseño?
Otros requisitos relativos al color
Our main logo should probably just be black and white. But I would be interested in versions that incorporate the kind blue-green-grey that can be seen on our house.

Diseño de inspiración
I like how bold and crisp this is, and the innovative take on the text treatment and how it works with the graphical 'surround'.
I like the classical appeal of this design with the baroque detailing. (Although I don't think Baroque is quite appropriate for our project.) I think the coat of arms treatment is interesting for the surrounding elements. We don't want a coat of arms per se for ours, I don't think, but a combination of surrounding features, plus text, plus central feature is something we're looking for.
Strong integration of image, text, and graphical surround.
This has a nice rustic feel that is in keeping with the interior of the guest house. Our interior decor is rustic with modern farmhouse feel that evokes a historic cottage in wine country.
I like the period aspect to this piece. Our house was built in the 1920's - so while we are looking for a classic appeal, something that evoked this period would be nice. Other fonts we like are Qua Ugly.
Beautiful, sophisticated integration of type and graphical surround.
Strong, vivid integration of image, text, and graphical surround.
This is evocative of our actual place, but likely won't be what I imagine our main branding piece to be, unless there was some way to combine our logo with this kind of a back ground that might be used on our website, for instance. We want to be able to market unique, curated experiences in wine country that include events such as weddings, and romantic get aways. So I could see a postcard that looks like this.
We are looking for an image that would work in multiple contexts-would need to have clean lines with a classic look, that will work on a hand-painted wooden sign out in front of our house, as well as on our website and letterhead. The logo should have a well-balanced integration of central image, text with a graphical surround. One of the fonts we quite like is Qua Ugly, but could be sold on something else that evokes that historic feel. We are a historic property (just listed on the national register of historic places) in wine country in New York's Finger Lakes region, and so would like to create something that evokes that feeling. While we are imagining a classic B&W wine label feel, we are intrigued at the possibility of incorporating the blue-grey-green of our house into a version that could be used on the sign out in front of our house. That color might also signal the region which is as famous for the beauty of its lakes as it is the taste of its wine. The end result should be classic and sophisticated but not too fussy. I have developed a rough sketch of a logo that is modeled on the house itself. Kind of a combination of the Random House logo with an early-American touch. I'm also attaching a photo of the house so that the designers can see what we are basing that on. We strongly feel that the unique, iconic, look of the property is its brand. We are looking for a strong, simple image of the house with some surrounding elements (the wine label or coat of arms feel) that could work on the sign, and print materials, and food labels, while in certain contexts we might remove the surrounding elements and use just the icon/logo of the house.
