The Silicon Valley Post is an online publication providing articles, news, journalism and content (including video) to a highly educated audience of innovators from around the world (primarily European, some Asian). This audience includes software engineers, PhD researchers, AI experts, UX designers, startup entrepreneurs and investors. Our audience are those who are partaking on a journey to Silicon Valley (often from other countries) to work for technology companies and research organizations in Silicon Valley. Most of which take on software engineering roles, others take on design, marketing, business and finance roles. The age group of our audience is anywhere from 22 to 55 but all of which appeal to latest trends. In general, we like to think of our audiences as business oriented, hipster, geeky, highly educated, globalized, appreciation for engineering & research, somewhat masculine and somewhat introverted. They appreciate humor.
Our publication provides our audience with content that immerses them into Silicon Valley tech culture & lifestyle, which includes learning about moving to Silicon Valley, starting a new life out here, meeting new people, learning about the society & the local scene and learning about how other newcomers established here successfully in the tech industry. We will be providing our audience with encouraging stories about how others successfully migrate and establish themselves into Silicon Valley.
Keep in mind that the term Silicon Valley is generally used as a synecdoche for the American high-technology economic sector. See what you can do to subtly incorporate this into your design with a bit of humor.
Please come up with your own unique design that relates to our audience and what we're trying to achieve. Please avoid copying concepts of others.
