Above Beach Cottages
Holiday Cottage rentals in south west England
Redesign the six buttons on our home page. This is an iteration from a front page redesign last year. Size and categories are staying the same and we want to have real images of cottages or buildings in the design again, not cartoons or graphics. Make sure the image used in sleeps 1-4 is one of our cottages that sleeps 4 and the sleeps 5+ is a larger cottage.
I want to make the whole thing look cleaner as well as brighter/sunnier/happier. Call to action button could be a bit more web 2.0- maybe orange like the 'check availability & prices' button on the cottage details. I think you should be able to get any image you might want from the site http://www.abovebeachcottages.co.uk but let me know if you want something else or it's fine if you can find something to use that's not copyrighted.
Although I have given a specific brief I don't mind if you want to step outside and offer something different but I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick close to the specs given.
Our customers are often not tech savvy and many have small old screens etc.
We manage and edit the site ourselves through a CMS but I'm not a web designer or used to managing anything design related so bear with me and any input gratefully received.

Having seen the first entries can I add that the Porthleven button should definitely include the clocktower as it's the symbol of the town. I like buttons that seem to stick out with a bit of 3D effect.
Don't use images from Camellia Cottage as it's a bit out of the main area we focus on and may not stay with us
