Design a hummingbird mascot for a scientific technology company

We created and maintain software and a file format for handling big data which is used by researchers, scientists, and corporations who use us as an information source and as a consultant to help them do their job.

The file format is secure, fast, and agile. It is the basis upon which many scientific fields do their work. We are also creating a line of products (i.e. Enterprise Support, access to Cloud files, etc.) which could be conceived as accessories for our mascot. Our users are computer programmers and scientists.

We did some research and also surveyed our employees. We would like our mascot to be a hummingbird. It's colorful and attractive. Like our product it's fast and lightweight.

We are not asking for a logo--we use our name as our logo (as on our website). We're looking for a cartoon-like mascot with character and personality.

Our website is https://www.hdfgroup.org. We are not expecting a blue and green hummingbird but so the colors can look nice together, our logo colors are:
