PaperbackReader has been around since 2002 in various forms. Each time, I've done the coding myself, and until about a month ago, it was in a homerolled PHP/MySQL design. I got tired of keeping it up, and wanted the features that wordpress has to offer, so I'm in the process of switching over. In so doing, I've lost what my site looked like.
I have a theme that "works" the way I want, but it doesn't "look" the way I want.
There are essentially 2 pages:
The home page, which is a 3 column layout.
#1 is "Columns" that is, weekly pieces of 1000 words or more
#2 is "Reviews" sporadic reviews of 300-500 words
#3 is the admin stuff, advertising, archives, links, the general wordpress stuff
You can see the new layout here, I've lost the old one, sadly.
Then the content page, which is 2 columns
Column 1 is the content, and it spans column 1 & 2. Column 3 is still the admin stuff.
