Hey there, I am a graduate of Industrial Engineering, yet I'm offering my customers a rather craftsman-like service. I'm actually not limiting the kinds of jobs I accept, still, the main areas are: trade fair construction (Messebau), Renovation/ Refurbishment (Renovierungen), Site Clearance (Beräumungen), Excel VBA Programming.
My main customers are rather big companies that want me to plan and build their exhibition booth, but also social security offices as well as social care offices.

Diseño de inspiración
For the Business Card:
I will always be wearing a black suit (jacket) with dark grey jeans, a white shirt and black shoes when I'm introducing my business to other people. I want the Card to fit perfectly to this outfit. I was thinking of a black card with greyish/metallic letters in a modern and clean design - but feel free to show your own ideas ;)
In addition I would like the card to show some typical elements of my work in the background in a slightly lighter or darker or "polished" color ( so it would be more like a thing you would see on a second look). Typical elements are actually basic tools involved in my crafts, but I would like them to be more on a scientific level - like numbers, degrees, scales (stuff an architect would use). A stream of zero's and one's is also an idea to show off my programming skills. But this stuff is really to be almost buried in the background.
For the Logo:
I really have no real idea, but I want the people to realize that I am the craftsman with an academic degree ( it should be elegant and noble). Also, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to include some of the fair construction components as design elements- I put some web adresses with 2d drawings at the end of this text. But please feel free to proove me wrong whenever you feel to - YOU are the designer and I need YOU to decide what would fit best.
