After 15 years of successful experience in the global south working on women´s rights, strategic litigation and social change, I am ready to take on a new challenge. I am beginning a consulting career as a strategic and tactical thinker in the world of justice, rights and equality.
I work at the intersection of rights, politics and communications to leverage existing opportunities, in the context of a globalized world where understanding gender and diversity can be a game-changer to success.
I want people and organizations that want to change the world, to understand that passion and commitment must be paired with method and strategy.
I am leaving Women´s Link Worldwide, an organization I created where I have been working for the past 15 years (from 2 people to a staff of 25 now). I need people to understand I am now a separate independent consultant. I am attaching the logo of this organization for you to keep in mind.
Since I was very young I have been well known in the world of women´s rights (I changed Colombia´s abortion law before I was 30), and I now need to be perceived as a big-leagues-thinker that can comfortably work on fields that are not necessarily directly linked to women´s rights.
It might be helpful to take a look at this video of a speech I gave when I was honored with an award a couple of years ago (I´ve gotten many but this is in English): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tbDJ3IlV0w
