I provide running coaching. TRU running stands for trail, road, ultra. My target audience are people who already run and probably take part in races. They are goal oriented and want to take their running to the next level: maybe to run their first road marathon, or to qualify for Boston; to do their first trail race, or set a new personal best off road and often in the hills or mountains; or to compete at 'ultra' distance, upwards to 100 miles or more. The core of my coaching will be highly personalized - a 1:1 program customized to the client, using a training plan and regular interaction via text, email and video calls. I will also organize one or two regular club night runs in my local community.

I have found that the underlying emotion running conjures remains the same. There is a particular feeling that comes when moving freely, untethered, under one's own power whether on road or in a wild place, sometimes over many hours or even days. An earthy brand linked to nature and activity. That is the emotional essence of 'tru'. Also, I would like to later on expand the use of Tru. Achieving goals seemingly beyond our mental and physical capacity takes great attitude and lots of effort (or Tru-Grit!). I plan for the logo to feature on a website (desktop and mobile) and in various marketing materials, and also, importantly on trucker hats, tees and other apparel. So something visually appealing and eye catching to wear. I am open to fonts, lower/upper case text; colors; whatever you think works best.
