The logo needs to include the name "Van Lier".
It needs to look professional, so it could appeal to the 'banker' type, but mainly young and energetic, so it appeals to the web/creative agencies.
The tagline I'm playing with is simply this: "Solutions." (include the period, not the quotes.
The overall feeling/emotion of it should be: established, trustworthy, dynamic, efficient, effective.
My personal style is professional but always fun, spontaneous, effective. I want the logo to reflect that, nothing too old fashioned or traditional, but not too 'artsy' or far-fetched.
You could try either using all lower case, or hand-writing style to convey that, but I'm hoping you can find other ideas.
I'm partial to dark/navy blue, or dark grey/charcoal. If you want to introduce other, more lively colors, try a bright orange but not as a primary.
Here are examples of styles I gravitate towards:
Polo, brown frames are pretty traditional, but orange highlights to keep it young.
In the attachments is the type of car that represents the tone. Fast and sporty, but within the high-quality engineering and sophistication. The dark blue is not a traditional car color like silver or black but not too young either.
