Crew Rowhouse is a new innovative, badass boutique indoor rowing studio that offers group fitness classes. Think of a spin class, except cooler. We use rowers and weights instead of bikes for a true full body workout. Our studio space is designed to be clean and cool with a Scandinavian/industrial inspiration. Picture white cinderblock walls , polished concrete floors, expanded metal and natural wood elements with a floor to ceiling laser projected video wall and state of the art sound system to get pumped up during class. Although we are a serious results driven studio, we also encourage fun and love our signature "Crew & Brew" post workout beers on the studios private outdoor patio. Our instructors are young, super high-energy, fun with killer playlists.

Endurance Row - strictly rowing, sometimes racing against class mates for fun.
Our target audience is 20-40, trendy, high social media users and interested in health & wellness.

We would like a clean, simple logo that has a big brand feel. Our goal is to open locations in multiple cities. We would like the logo to include our name and an icon/symbol (think SoulCycles "wheel"). It would be good if we can have a logo that works with just our name and the icon/symbol separately. Our vision is to have a logo that can be expanded and adapted to a full brand package that will include a more detailed badge, and other elements for apparel etc. Brands we love 1Rebel (because their are just super cool) , SoulCycle (because of their simple big brand look and identifiable use of their wheel), WIT London. From a design perspective we love Pavlov Visuals brand creation of Union Haus elements and their use of abstract simple outline/stained glass design elements/logos. One idea we have thrown around for the icon/symbol, but is not necessary to focus on is an abstract take on the blade on a rowing oar and the combined outline/roof of a house to represent the "house" in Rowhouse. One thing we do want to express is we would like to focus on the word CREW more that Rowhouse. Rowhouse should be secondary. We are open to see what you come up with, but a few things we like and think could work - a varsity inspired look, using the oars in some way. We would like to use a skull as part of brand package, not sure it if makes sense in the logo? We look forward to seeing what you come up with!! ***UPDATE*** Thank you to everyone for your time and effort coming up with some amazing designs. With only 6 hours left we are getting close to the cut off and narrowing down the top 6 finalists. We love the skull designs you have come up with, but feel like we may have narrowed your focus to just "skulls" based on our likes and feedback and the overall direction the majority of artists were going. If you have any inspiration or design ideas for something totally different that you think might be great, please submit before the cut off. We are looking for our "Soul Cycle Wheel" (which might be a skull, but could be something else) that can be combined with a simple or slight varsity font. Thank you
