We are a medium-sized and rapidly growing transport company based in Adelaide, South Australia. We deliver building materials (typically pavers, bricks, concrete sleepers, tiles and turf) from the material suppliers’ factories to their clients’ homes or building sites. We deliver both locally and interstate. We use JCB telehandler forklift machines (all-terrain) to unload the pallets or crates of building materials from our trucks and place them into the destination property (see our Pinterest Inspiration Board for reference). Our target audience is building material producers (such as paver or tile manufacturers, turf growers or salvage companies). Our audience is looking for service, reliability (including the ability to take large or long-distance loads at short notice), intelligence and affordability.

Robinson Brothers Transport requires a bold new logo to take our business to the next level of professionalism.
RBT’s current and original logo is outdated, clumsy and difficult to read from a distance.
We need our new logo to be clever, striking, memorable and easy to read, whether it is at the top of our letterhead or (soon-to-be-created) website, on one of our driver’s uniforms or signwritten on the door of one of our trucks. PLEASE NOTE that our trucks do not have sides on them (see the Pinterest Board for picture reference), and therefore the logo must be suitable to fit in the relatively small space on the door or cab of each truck (hence why a simple and bold logo would work well).
The vast majority of our trucks are white, and we would prefer the logo to be a dark colour on a white background. A combination of colours in the logo would work, so long as the overall design was kept simple.
We are happy for the logo to read either “Robinson Brothers Transport” or “RB Transport”. We would prefer not to include a company motto or slogan in order to keep the design simple. A truck and/or forklift vector illustration could work well in the design, which would be a way of symbolising the service we provide.
Please note that we are not looking for your typical transport company logo – we would like ours to stand out and act as a real point of difference. If you can come up with an illustration other than a truck or forklift that would accurately symbolise what we do, we would love to see it!
