The Red Fox Lodge is located directly at the bottom of the Suginohara Pair Lift No 1, which is the base of the longest Ski run in Japan, the Myoko Suginohara (roughly 8.5km) in Suginosawa.
Myoko Kogen is one of the up and coming skiing destinations on the South Island of Japan. With the stunning Naena Waterfall located in the Suginosawa area attracting thousands of spring and summer visitors every year, it is a year-round destination for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts.
The Red Fox Lodge will offer 20 Lodge-style rooms that are able to accommodate family groups, communal laundry facilities and nearby onsen areas. Future plans include on-site ski rental and clothing shop and food / restaurant options.
Initially, The Red Fox Lodge will operate as a ski resort during the months of November to April. During the Spring and Summer months (May to August), the Red Fox will operate as a summer resort. The lodge will be closed during the months of September and October.
