For some weird reason my contest ended up in the wrong category, it should be the logo category. I send the 99design team an message about this.
We are a small start-up and we have a few fresh ideas for the traditional job sites that will set us apart from the rest of the market.
Our company is Cre8ive Thought (http://www.cre8ivethought.com).
We are physically based in Bergen (which means mountains) Norway, this doesn't matter much, but perhaps it gives some added inspiration.
This is an existing market, basically the people looking for a new job but it should also be attractive to the companies posting jobs. Our first target market is Scandinavia, when that is a success we will move outside of it.
See what you can do with mountains, we are based in Bergen Norway and Bergen is on the water surrounded by 7 mountains (google it). I have seen a few submissions that take an angle towards that and that is interesting. In that case threat it more as a logo independent from the text.
We want you to come up with the LOGO for FindWork4.me (or just "Find Work 4 Me") (including the starting colour palette and font style, so that we can extend the logo into the development of a website).
This brand will feature on our website and will also be used in magazine Ad's.
Ideally we want the logo to feature a small element that can be used independently of the company name. We want this icon to be highly recognizable for our business and something which works well when shrunk right down (e.g. web icon/digital button).
No 3D shadows are ok.
We added the winning logo for our company website as an indication what we like, this logo does _not_ need to match the color scheme or design.
I don't care too much about the loop (enlargement glass). Instead of finding think of matching. We find you work, but we do this by matching the person to the job.
Please leave questions, will be responding to them all.
