Logo for Website/Book that helps tourist or pilgrims who walk one of
many 100-1,000 kilometer pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. There
are many guides to walking "The Camino" but I think they are too
serious and some because of the religious origins of the walk focus
too much on your spiritual side, improving yourself when many
really just want to know where to sleep, where to eat, and where they
can find a bathroom. Tourist who walk the Camino, usually carry all
their belonging in a backpack and sleep in hostels. The SCALLOP SHELL
is a symbol associated with the camino. It is painted on a blue
background to direct pilgrims in the correct direction when they are
walking. Many pilgrims will hang small scallop shells off their
backpacks to tell people what they are doing. I've put a couple of
pictures showing what it looks like. A YELLOW ARROW is often painted
on trees, rocks, roadways showing pilgrims which direction to walk
in. Some places have a concrete post with the scallop shell symbol
with a yellow arrow pointing in the correct direction and telling you
how many more kilometers you need to get to your destination.

Playfulness. Looking for an image where a backpacker cartoon is
playfully looking over his shoulder having been caught urinating on
the road. I want the person that comes to the website with your
design to feel like they were walking on a road and they just
upon a guy who was urinating-- he turns his head realizing he's been
caught, and can only smile.
Might be interesting if the words of CaminoLand.com were
used to partially hide the cartoon image that gets caught urinating.
Similar to style I got from earlier design contest that I put up on
my website: DaBronxTrafficLawyer.com
Note: Backpack is used for walking long distances and should be large
since it carries everything for these long journeys.
Note: Although I prefer black/white/yellow; I'm open to other ideas; I
told one designer to substitute Blue for Black, and use
Blue/White/Yellow because then it would match the official logo used
by Spain for the camino scallop shell which is Blue/Yellow as the last
downloaded image shows.
