I am a Hairstylist and make-up artist ; looking to open a VERY exciting salon/studio in NJ. We will be styling hair and applying make-up, along with a heavy emphasis on Photography.Throughout the salon and all our advertisement will be photos of our own work; expressing our creativity and providing the client the reality experience of being a modal. A highly creative, professional service oriented and exciting salon is the branding I'm trying to develop. The branding should draw both clients and enthusiastic stylists.

the target audience is anyone between the age of 15 and 50 who are interested in their appearance and receiving creative, quality beauty services in a fun and exciting atmosphere. We are looking to draw young adults who may want fun and funky looks along with a core of patrons seeking more traditional quality styling services. This logo is going to be the foundation for all future advertisement; initially business cards, letter head, website and brochures etc.
The goal is to have an exciting logo developed for a hair salon that styles hair, does make-up and photography. It should be age and gender neutral (as the business name is) I want one of the attached file drawings to be incorporated. It is a FaceFrame representation of my signature hairstyle. I wish to develop it has part of mine and the salons branding. It has been suggested to me that men are drawn to squares in advertising; which makes me question adding some sort of "frame" again playing on the FaceFrame theme and suggestive of the photography. The logo colors need to carry through with my salon decorating; therefor the colors should be muted and NOT super bright oranges and yellows. The desired goal is to be edgy and attractive to young adults; without being alienating to anyone else. In a way I will mimic say KFC with the image of the Kernel, but edgier and modern. An example of a Logo I love is the FireFox Internet icon. The picture describes what it is.
