I need a logo for my personal fitness training business. It is geared specifically towards highly overweight and obese individuals.
Envisioned Health
I need a logo that is inviting, accepting, meaningful and not intimidating. It should be flexible enough to be used on websites as well as business cards. The company is a personal fitness training business and it is geared specifically towards overweight and obese adults. The company logo needs to reflect certain elements about it: warmth, care, comfort, support as well as be welcoming and meaningful.
I have been playing with the idea of using an image of two hands framing a shot, like photographers and directors do for a scene (ex: http://www.flickr.com/photos/adrian…96788030/) which can relate to the client as them "seeing" their future self. I have also toyed with the idea of a logo inspired by a butterfly (representing change and transformation) but not literally a picture of a butterfly (perhaps some abstract representation of one, not sure). The tag-line does not necessarily have to be in the logo (but I am not opposed to it) so if it does help with the design process here it is: "have faith. be patient. live free." I would like the colors blue/white/black to be used (the color scheme isn't "set in stone" but if using alternative colors please make sure they represent a sense of calm and safety about them). The name of the business does not have to be part of the logo, but it can be (Envisioned Health). If the name is used I prefer it be in lower case and not too fancy of a font (basic and clean, along the lines of helvetica or verdana or some other sans-serif font). Lastly it would be great to have it in Illustrator format (vector format to resize if needed). I realize I have a lot of ideas but I am definitely open to other suggestions and designs as long as they support the impact on the audience (calm, welcoming, inspirational, meaningful, safe, supportive).
I do not want a typical fitness logo, especially one with figures/silhouettes performing sports activities or exercises. Nothing with too many colors or too complicated of a design where if it's shrunk will not be noticeable. I would prefer to have the ability to use the logo by itself but do not mind if it is in combination with the companies name/tag-line as long as it works well together.
