MADE Fitness Club by G-FIT
STRONG* TOUGH * FIT* FAST
My name is Garret Watson. I am (CSCS) Strength and Conditioning Specialist, RKC Kettlebell instructor, Personal Trainer, and aspiring Martial Arts instructor. The success of my clients and the growth of my business is one of the most important aspects of my life. I am extremely excited to take my fitness business to the next level. The name I have been using for my business has always been G-FIT. This has been great for a long time and makes a lot of since because I am Garrett and it has only been me that my clients have been dealing with. Going forward I will be working with associate trainers and instructors. In the future it will not only me, but it will be a team effort. I want to develop a brand name that everyone associated with my Fitness Club can take ownership of.
I would like to introduce you to MADE Fitness Club by G-FIT. MADE or MADE Fit- Club for short. The logo you are developing must include the words (MADE Fitness Club by G-FIT). I am also considering using the words (STRONG, TOUGH, FIT, FAST) in the logo, but these words do not have to be included. I love the colors black, red and sometimes white but I am open to all color schemes.
An Example of a logo I really like is the Mountain Hardware logo. I believe I like this logo because, not only are the words “ Mountain Hard Ware used, but you can also recognize the brand by the symbol of the NUT next to the words. I like the strong simplicity of it. I obviously love my G-FIT logo. My current website is GetGfit.com if you would like to check out the G-FIT Logo. I will be using the MADE logo for my new website. I used 99 design to developed it and choose it from over 100 designs. As you can see by my G-FIT logo, I tend to like simple and balanced logos but I am open to anything. I started drawing some logos and I came up with a large Thor looking hammer with G-Fit on the handle and then another with G-FIT on the head itself.
I don’t want you all to focus on any one idea of mine. If I was as creative as you all I would be doing what you all do. Please feel free to go in your own direction, but I wanted you to see a little bit of what I had in mind at first. Also, look at the start of my web site at Madelouisville.com to get a little more of an idea of what direction my business is going in. I also thought about using a Kettlebell somewhere in the logo or putting G-FIT in the Kettlebell itself. Kettlebells are my main tool, but we will be using lots of other equipment to train our clients. Try not to get tunnel vision on Kettlebells.
We work with a lot of clients like Police, Fire fighters, outdoorsmen and martial artist, but we will also be working with regular people that are looking for an elite training and are not afraid to work hard or get a little dirty. I want a logo that will be strong enough for men, but not scare away potential women clients.
In MADE, I can envision tee-shirts saying MADE STRONG, MADE Tough, MADE FAST, MADE SPINNING, MADE Tactical, MADE To Fight, ” What Are You MADE Of? “. We could have photos of clients on the walls reading; MADE MEN AND WOMEN. How about a Re-MADE promo? How about “Champions Are MADE Not Born”? The marketing possibilities are endless with a strong logo attached to the name.
I finally would like to tell you just a little bit more about our mission. MADE Fitness club was created to enhance strengths, endurance, mental toughness, resilience, and team building skills. MADE is an indoor and outdoor facility. That means it is possible to run obstacle race prep courses, fitness boot camps, kettlebells or kids sports performance on the lawn and at the same time we can use our inside facility to train our clients in Yoga , TRX suspension training, or tactical strength and conditioning .
I want MADE to be known as the Elite name in fitness in my city. My goal is to have people recognize MADE as the destination for serious fitness enthusiast.
We will be marketing to serious fitness enthusiast, such as Tri-athletes, obstacle race participants and martial artist, military, police, firemen, and competitive athletes of all ages. General population people will be welcome to train, but I want to create a culture of excellence and they will be asked to raise their level. I need a strong logo that represents the brand.
