A website (not yet launched) where people can post their requirements for a holiday cottage for free. The site then sends automated emails to matching cottage owners who can contact them direct. Saves customers trawling hundreds of websites and puts the onus on cottage owners. Target audience are outgoing, outdoorsy 20-60 year olds, friends and families who love getting away from it all but who are fed up with trawling websites and want to save time and let offers come to them! The site also allows cottage owners with late availability to advertise. The site will be cool and sophisticated and will also have a blog of cottages people love, great things to take with you, recipies etc. It's a community website for people who love weekends away, rather than a corporate website run by a big organisation.

It needs to be as simple as possible but also classy and intelligent -
so not to look like a big corporate - needs to communicate that this
independent company, on the side of the consumer and not affiliated
to any big corporate. I like innocent, and also notonthehighstreet.
like the name to be lower case, and handwritten if possible or at
least using a very simple font. Maybe just a hand-drawn cottage, or
something incorporating the words. Simpler the better and only a
couple of colours. Also it would be good if the logo (drawing) could
standalone (like the twitter bird or the p on pinterest) so we could
use it on the tabs of webpages, or on business cards etc.
