It will be an heritage architecture and interior design service. I will run as a sole trader (architect, female, aged 40) in collaboration with an experienced heritage architect (male, aged 75). Target audience is owners of listed buildings - domestic or other building types. Clients will have discerning taste and want to be inspired by the creative re-use of their heritage building. We will offer design services from feasibility through to completion on-site. The clients will be based in Berkshire and Oxfordshire, UK

The design should be sophisticated and timeless, and reflect a combination of 'new' and 'old' as the type of work we do. It should be easy to read, the font should be sans serif and relatively modern. I selected blue colours for their 'calm and knowledgable associations, the orange as a contrast colour should be more a 'burnt' orange if used. Also like aquas if this works better in the logo than blues. Also bear in mind that for business cards and so forth I hope the paper will be textured and thick, and I would want them to be embossed to indicate luxury and sophistication - the wider view of the brand as it develops.
