Kwik Kopy (http://www.kwikkopy.ca) - new name KKP (with tagline of service offerings)
We are wanting to re-establish a new logo for Kwik Kopy that will provide the creative and graphic foundation for a new corporate look. We are the franchisor for the Canadian franchise of Kwik Kopy. We have 68 very diverse franchisees across Canada. Each franchisee does offer a variety of services, some are very high performers, most mid-range and some low.
The new design should have the visual power to help move the impression of Kwik Kopy from just a copy shop (or little printer) to that of a vital, modern, customer oriented company that is constantly evolving its technology and skills to be able to service the customer's future communication needs.
The Kwik Kopy customer is primarily small to medium sized businesses. Owners, Managers, Professionals. We are introducing an on-line web to print solution mid-year and this target group will expand to include small office and home office and even some consumers.
We currently refer to ourselves as: Kwik Kopy Design & Print Centre. We added the tagline "Design & Print Centre" in 2003 when we launched a new logo - this was to demonstrate that we were more than just a copy shop.
We have decided that we are moving away from the running K men in our existing logo. And thus, we would like the new name to be KKP and the tagline to be along the lines of: Business Services / KKP Business Solutions / KKP Marketing Provider... we are hoping that our design partner can help us develop a tagline that truly exhibits what we do and makes sense with the new logo.
We need to clearly communicate the broader range of services (print, copy, design, wide format, engineering, signs, packaging) - you think it, we can print it/produce it.
Logo needs to work in English (65 franchisees) as well as French (3 franchisees).
I have attached our logo brief that goes into more detail and shows the evolution of our logo. We would like you to use your creativity and are rather free to design. We do need to stay within PMS 485 and 280. Also - needs to be professional - so no cartoon characters. Thanks.
