Moxie Sports, Inc.
I'm a man who is tired of working 60-hour weeks for unappreciative jerks who are getting rich of the efforts of my labor! Now it's my turn...not to be a jerk, but to be independent. My entrepreneurial spirit is calling and I intend to capitalize on it. I've been planning to launch a sports apparel & equipment business for 20 years...and now it's time. Picture Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas to get an idea of who I'm going after. However, I have an ace up my sleeve that none of my competitors are engaged in that will set Moxie apart from the rest.
Moxie Sports, Inc. is a manufacturing and marketing company dedicated to providing industry leading athletic apparel, sports equipment, and performance products for athletes of all ages. This is an upstart company looking to break ground in 2011. Our target audience includes athletes and non-athletes of all ages, genders, and abilities. If they can wear a shirt and shoes, they are old enough to wear Moxie Apparel. Initially, we intend to target youth sports leagues, high school athletic departments, and collegiate audiences in the midwest before venturing into other national and international markets. Customers buy and wear Nike and Under Armour because of their cool logos and what they represent. We need a logo that will make people "want to buy" our apparel. When it comes down to it, a shirt is a shirt. Consumers buy what they buy because of the cool logo on the items. That is what Moxie needs!
Moxie Sports, Inc. needs an incredibly cool logo that will make people want to buy our product and proudly display that logo on their athletic apparel. I DO NOT want a letter to serve as the company logo. The winning design will not only serve as our corporate mark, but will be displayed on shirts, shoes, athletic equipment (cleats, baseball gloves, football equipment, lacrosse gear...), and the outside of our corporate offices. After we reach brand recognition, this logo will need to be strong enough to stand on it's own...without the Moxie name.
I'm looking for an abstract design, so you are free to be creative. Look up the definition of "Moxie" to understand who we want our customers to be and what defines my personality.
I think a 3D logo would be very cool if designed properly to look good on apparel. I would prefer a 2-color logo. 3D is my preference (everyone has a vector logo) unless it won't work in the application i'm looking for.
Color is not of importance at the moment. The color of this logo will be changed frequently depending on the product purchased. To help you, I like black & gold, carolina blue and white, navy blue and yellow, orange and black, and red & white.
No greens and no browns please.
