Overview: Higher Objects is a brand of functional accessories and apparel that will initially focus on men, but could also expand into women.
Target market: Sophisticated and stylish men in the 20-50 age range.
Market: There is a rapidly growing fashion trend focused on men’s accessories. This is in-line with the larger global “metro-sexual” trend and increased grooming of men as evidenced by the successful launch of beard grooming brands (https://www.beardbrand.com/), eyewear (https://www.warbyparker.com/), and socks (https://www.stance.com/). Some example of players in the market;
Brand: Higher Objects is an aspirational male focused brand that combines strong design sensibility with functionality. When wearing a HO product, testosterone levels will jump as owners will feel control and confident. For some, the product will be part of their daily look, for others it will be their weekend symbol of freedom. And for many men, it will be the gateway bracelet that gets them comfortable with accessorizing.
The Name: Higher Objects reflects the brand in a number of ways:
• Objects: Represents the products (an object) and also suggests that the products have a purpose or a utility. At a more aspirational level – what object or purpose is someone after. How does the brand help them achieve or motivate them to achieve those objectives.
• Higher: The idea that our “objects” have a higher purpose – meaning they are more than just an object but have a functional aspect. Also, higher in the sense that we use superior raw materials, a future socially responsible giving back component. Inspirationally, what is one’s higher purpose in life. Wearing this brand gives you a Sixth Sense – a higher understanding.
