We need a memorable logo designed for our email marketing service called OptIn.com. This is a service where users subscribe to an email newsletter and give permission to receive email from a publisher.
We would like the name spelled with a capital "O" and a capital "I" as in OptIn.com as well as include the ".com" in the logo.
We are open to logo ideas, however, we do have a solid idea in mind for a logo concept...
Along with some stylized text of the name itself, having a red 'checkmark' (like someone checking a box) that goes through the "O" as if it was a big circle that someone checked off. (Which communicates the concept of opt-ing in or selecting something.)
Might try have the check start on top of the left-middle of the "O" and then continue through the "O" and out the top; but having the checkmark go 'under' the top part of the "O" and then continuing above. So the check starts ON the "O" but then goes under the top part -- so it's not just completely over the "O" making it harder to read. Might be a good idea to create the concept both ways -- all on top of the "O" and as I just described.
ALSO... it would probably be best to make the ".com" a bit smaller font size than the "OptIn" part. Play with it and see what you can come up with. :)
