New startup / venture - I'm terrible at describing something new, but given a sample can immediately give descriptive feedback on work and what I like or don't like about it.
Large organizations, colleges, universities, federal agencies
This is a software company. So many are created to churn out the latest "edit this screen of information" types of software. We provide additional insight, metrics, differentiate ourselves by making the most of the data.
Some logos I considered:
#4083 above was close, but the curve felt a little too organic, reminded me of DNA, I don't want to be confused with a bioinformatics company.
#5495 was also close. A "linked list" is a common base data structure in CS, this is what I was reminded of.
#5937 - the idea of breaking things down, decomposing information. Not big on the swoosh underneath, love the big blocky font though.
I don't want to be too specific, any kind of graph moving up (like you see on half the financial logos) is out. Nothing too complex, not big on cartoons or anything involving body parts. No color limitations, website hasn't been designed yet, will take scheme from the logo.
As I see samples, I'll be sure to post more details. This is my first time with 99designs, looking forward to seeing how it works!
