LGM is a distribution company that represents products from Europe, the US and Australia, and sells them in Asia.
The products we distribute are for the “built environment” which means anything to do with constructing or managing buildings (hotels, shopping malls, offices, factories). Some of the products we represent include grills that go on the front of air-con ducts, and an air treatment that increases the quality of air in a building.
We have strict criteria for the products we represent. They must be at the forefront of the industry and push the boundaries of comfort, efficiency and sustainability. Our biggest asset is that we have in house expertise in the Built Environment. We respect knowledge but more importantly, we have the curiosity to question it. We ask “why not” and are not limited but what is currently available.
LGM stands for “Little Green Men” (a common term for aliens). The reason for this is that we always look to represent products that are very forward thinking and give us a glimpse into the future of buildings. And for us, "space" represents the future.
Although LGM stands for Little Green Men, our branding needs to be simpler and we will NOT use the term “Little Green Men” in any collaterals - Just “LGM”.
Mechanical & electrical consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, building owners and building managers (e.g. air-con maintenance companies). We also do a lot of work with hotels so would work with hotel managers.
We want to stick out from other distributors and clearly call out our point of view. We believe things should be done better, and we find products that strive for better. We want to infect consultants and contractors with a desire to try something new. Something different and exciting. Something they didn’t think was possible.
The people we want to talk to are the more progressive thinkers. The ones willing to take a risk to build something new and different. They are experienced in their field and have been in the industry for 10 - 20 years.
The majority will be Asian males , 30 - 50 years old.
We need a logo that uses the letters “LGM" and brings to like the "space" forward thinking mentality of the brand.
It needs to work on a black and a white background, and if needed we are happy to look into slightly different logos or “reverse” logos for light and dark backgrounds.
We are taking a risk with the name so want to take a risk with the logo as well.
