Logo Refresh for an IT Company - Communicating Both Professionalism and Playfulness

We do IT consulting, but focus mainly on developing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. Thus we are strictly in the B2B space.

UPDATE:

After seeing many different approaches, I made a mockup myself. Please use the attached "mockup.svg" as a guideline and refine it a bit more (only tiny details please, the general design shouldn't be changed).

Also, please only use these three colors in your designs:

- #576478
- #f6e05e
- #ffffff

And STILL only the Inter font: https://rsms.me/inter/

We already have a logo that needs a fresh and professional design, so this project is a logo refresh based on the existing logo (see attachments).

There are a few requirements:

- The "hidden" emoji (:D) needs to be kept in some form
- Logo needs to be based on the "Inter" font family (https://rsms.me/inter/)
- This color palette should be used: https://tailwindcss.com/docs/custom…or-palette
- An icon based on the logo is needed, too (see attachment)

Apart from the requirements above, you are free to do whatever :)
