We are a strategic development company aiming to create one of the most special places to meet in The Netherlands. The top 3 floors of the tallest building of the city are being developed into a unique leisure centre. On the ground floor, visitors will be welcomed and a glass elevator will speed them up to the 40th, 41st and 42nd floor. There will be 6 meeting rooms on the 40th floor, a viewing arcade ond the 41st and a restaurant / multimedia room / nightclub on the 42nd floor. The project plan can be seen at http://issuu.com/bluegroup/docs/tourdelahaye. This is in Dutch, however, the pictures speak for themselves :) Please note that Tour de la Haye is the project name, not the name for the business. This will be The Penthouse for the top floor and The Appartments for the meeting rooms on the 40th floor. The location The Hague is important as well.
Special detail: the windows of the top level restaurant / nightclub will be used as videoscreens, creating a 55metres panorama screen. This means the view on the town can be changed into a view of the sea, Hong Kong, or anything else... a real attraction! See the animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfBOxXB3oI0
There are lots of pictures of the building on Flickr: just search for Strijkijzer The Hague.

The target audience is very wide: from business people for the meeting rooms to young adults (21+) for the nightclub and restaurant. The location stands out from the crowd... and so should the logo. Hip, trendy, luxurious, special, top level are the words that come to mind.
A truly different place to meet deserves a top quality logo!
A logo for The Penthouse | The Appartments | The Hague, preferably as a family of elements that can be used individually in different applications. Note: we are not really looking for 3 different logo's, but we want to be able to apply the logo to the different functions of the business. If you want to start of with just one logo design for The Penthouse (name of the business) The Hague (location) that is o.k.
The files we require are of the EPS format so that they can be used in any application from print to web. It has to be possible to change specific logo elements, so no bitmap images that cannot be changed.
What should the logo look like? That's up to you! But we are thinking of a combination of the text, obviously, with a signature logo element.
