twoloaves & toastyhosty
We are a small (but fast growing) Australian technology company whose founders are passionate about delivering quality solutions to customers around the globe. We provide web development and related services via our two distinct (yet closely related) businesses - twoloaves and toastyhosty. twoloaves is a professional services company offering web programming, design and consulting services, while toastyhosty is our web hosting offshoot providing the full complement of web and email hosting to small and medium businesses.
Our customers come from a wide range of industries and backgrounds, all of them looking for technology solutions. We're primarily targeting a professional business audience, but would like to retain a sense of fun and quirkiness in providing quality solutions to these customers.
We are looking for matching logos, primarily for twoloaves (our parent company) but also toastyhosty (our web hosting arm). Show us your vision by choosing one of the logos to design, or go ahead and provide concepts for both.
Remember, we're looking for the best design -- two so-so concepts don't automatically beat a fantastic design for one or the other. We'd look forward to working with the designer to provide the other logo, or providing a bonus if that is done as part of your submission.
We prefer the twoloaves and toastyhosty logos to be somewhat similar, that is they should be easily recognizable as part of the same business.
twoloaves and toastyhosty were named after the founders' shared love of bread and bread-related products, not as an attempt to reference biblical themes. It would be desirable to include some toast or bread in the logos themselves to clearly get this message across.
We generally prefer logos where the company name is unbroken and lowercased (as ours are).
We approve of the brown tones of bread, but we are not averse to introducing complementary colors which take the branding to greater heights. This is where your genius as designer will come in no doubt.
Please no clipart or stock photography (we're aiming for casual, but professional).
