GATD Global Access to Technology for Development
We work to bring better technologies to the very poor (think water purification technology, better cook-stoves, micro-solar solutions, vaccines, literacy tools using mobile phones, etc.) in developing countries.
GATD does not have a website, yet, but there is a website for one of the projects running out of GATD. http://globalaccessinaction.org/ This website describes the work of Global Access in Action, which characterizes the core work and values of GATD.
Our target audience is a hybrid of all the organizations and people engaged in the effort to deliver technologies that make a difference to the poor in developing countries: inventors, international aid agencies, non-profit organizations, private philanthropic foundations, attorneys, governments, upper management professionals in multinational companies, university administrators and many more. We will need our logo to reach a broad audience.
Modern, simple, powerful, professional. Not gimmicky, but rather highly polished. This logo will be utilized to represent an organization that is partnering with the United Nations, the World Economic Forum, US Government, and major multinational companies. We do not want our logo to be conservative and stodgy, but, rather both modern and respectable.
We are looking for TYPEFACE + ICON or possibly just TYPEFACE with no icon. Typeface could use any of the three options here: 1. GATD plus the acronym spelled out - Global Access to Technology for Development; 2. GATD; 3. GATD Foundation. Whatever fits and looks good.
If you do use an icon, it is better for it to be non-representative of anything-just a design. No GLOBES, worlds or maps. No photographs.
Color: This has to be the respectable part--strong and modern (please see mock-up example uploaded below). Very few restrictions on color (no pinks), but, website will have a white background.
We will require print quality and website quality files.
