I'm a storyteller and a lifestyle photographer. My catch phrase is "the art of storytelling". I prefer to photograph in the outdoors, using all natural light. My images are mostly unposed, light, artistic, unusual, earthy, natural, organic, real, genuine. I love light bouncing off the hair of my subject. I'm 40 but don't act or look it. Currently, i do all kinds of photography - weddings, seniors, families, maternity, newborn. But what I really want to focus on right now are my weddings and seniors in high school. My clients love me because I'm a real person, not stuffy or unapproachable. I'm instantly a friend and I get even the stiffest of people to be comfortable with me very quickly. I love earth tones with a few splashes of very bright color. I love shooting in locations that no one would think about. Junkyards, dirty alleys, fields of agriculture, broken down barns and buildings. I love wildflowers and blue skies with amazing cloud formations. I'm a mom to 3 amazing kids. Being a mom and a woman makes me a better photographer because I FEEL strongly. My emotions run deep and my love for real life is even deeper. Reality is very important to me, I want to document life. My website is http://www.mistydameron.com. The new website I'm working on is http://www.mistydameronphotography.…itsite.com - we're waiting for the new logo to brand before going live.

I'm trying to position myself as an upscale photographer in my area. My clients mostly range between 20 and 50, with the majority of them being in their 20s and 30s. But my largest target audience is women in their 20s and 30s. I would like to appeal to an intelligent, educated, saavy woman. Probably mostly working moms, or higher income brides. I would like to work with people who are similar to me, not stuffy, but down to earth and one that can afford me! Since I'm appealing to brides as well as older mom's who want family portraits done, I need to appeal to both circles.
I need Misty Dameron Photography to be in the main logo. My main color for my site is a chocolate brown (two that I like are 2F1C02 and 4D2F1C) and I'd like to keep that still as my main color. As far as the other colors, I'm open to ideas. I've thought about turquoise or baby blue, maybe burnt orange, maybe taupe, not pink. I like simple, but still want it to be very recognizable.
