The Fair Housing Coalition
This is a non-profit organization aiming at waking up the building owners (mainly apartment owners in LA) and creating an effective, strong political organization that will reverse the tide of anti-landlord laws in LA. The organization is made up of a band of diverse owners, poor, rich, middle-class who are fed up with the way the city of LA has been treating them with Rent Control and want to fight back.
The audience is anyone who cares for and supports property rights. Specifically we are fighting for the rights of apartment building owners in LA. This includes anyone who owns a duplex (2-unit) and up. Property Rights are the backbone of any stable democracy. So the target audience can include renters as well as property owners who see the importance of safeguarding property ownership. This is a very diverse group, all races, all nationalities, religions, and ages.
An effective strong logo that depicts the safeguarding of property rights and its importance for a healthy and safe society. Be creative and think outside the box as well, the logo shouldn't be too complicated but not traditional obvious design.
The logo should incorporate some type of housing or building. The main color is blue but other tones can be used as well (grey, black, etc). Also incorporate symbols in the back of the One Dollar Bill like the American eagle safeguarding of liberties as well as the traditional symbol of equality and fairness, and the eye representing awareness. Please include the words "The Fair Housing Coalition" as well. The website is called: thefairhousingcoalition.com
This must be something that will get the attention of people and eventually go national!
