Perth Tram Company
Professional, reputable Hop on Hop off Tour and Charter business. Trading for 26 years but image is a little tired and it desperately requires a new corporate identity...website etc. The logo will be the crux of it all! Make us stand out from the crowd and our 1 competitor in Perth WA.
Please go to http://www.perthtram.com.au to view photos of our vehicles. This website will be completely redeveloped once a new logo is created.
We have several target audiences and we need a logo that can lend itself to each:
1. Hop on Hop off City Tours on 2 vehicles
Red replica Trams/Trolleys - target an older demographic
Fun filled open top double decker bus - younger people and families
Our replica trams/trolleys are sought after for:
Corporate events ( progressive dinners)
We require a contemporary, elegant logo but also one that exudes pleasure and fun. The logo should be elegant enough to lend itself to being placed on signage on our classic red replica trams and also on wedding and corporate related material (Very important). So, It needs to be modern and fresh but it should not be too contemporary and "out of place" on our tram signage. The logo should also be appropriate for our fun filled double decker bus. Our bus is red and we want to fun it up with paintwork (our compteitor is city sightseeing tours) and we would like to draw upon aspects of the logo to do this so there is continuity across the vehicles So, we need a versatile logo that can lend itself to several different aspects of the business.
Colours - we are looking at red and platinum with some black and white where necessary.
Style - landscape - icon to left or right, or within text
Preferably we require the Company name - Perth Tram Company and an icon. Please do not make the icon an old fashioned tram or bus or bus/tram ticket. We want a fresh image. The icon needs to have some relevance to the company and nothing too abstract. Also happy to consider no icon, just font or intials of company.
Remember - elegant but also exudes sense of pleasure and can be adapted to be "funned up" for the bus.
I have attached a copy of the current logo that is tired.
