Coalition Against Bigger Trucks
The Coalition Against Bigger Trucks (CABT) is a national nonprofit that works on commercial vehicle size and weight laws. We are focused solely on preventing increases in truck size or weight. Our concerns with heavier and longer trucks are safety, infrastructure damage, the cost of that damage on communities and taxpayers as well as the environmental impacts heavier trucks bring. Nationally and locally we partner with law enforcement, safety advocates, labor unions, environmentalists and local elected officials.
We have two primary target audiences. The first audience is comprised of state and local community leaders (primarily law enforcement officers, labor union leaders, environmental groups, public interest organizations, and state and local elected officials). The other target audience are staff members to Members of Congress.
We are looking to update our logo which is from the early 90s and would like this logo to be the cornerstone of our rebranding effort (website and presentation materials). We have no specific design ideas for the logo at this moment. We want to rely on the creativity of each member of the 99 Designs community to put their unique ideas to work.
I've attached our current logos for you to see, the first is our national logo and the second is what we use for each individual state coalition. Ideally, we'd like to see a logo that we could be adapted for each state coalition.
This logo will be used for our website (http://www.cabt.org) our field materials, business cards and presentations and should be crisp and clear. It's important that the logo be a very “clean” design and every letter must be clearly readable.
Logo text can be in either upper or lower case, or capitalized.
Logo should be professional, modern with a little bit of style.
No cartoonish logos.
Designers should feel free to play about with their own color schemes, but please avoid garish combinations.
The logo should be unique. Vector graphics only, please.
