Article 5 Salon and Boutique
I am a 27 yr. old woman who has been in the salon business for 11 years. I am purchasing the salon that I have worked at for the last 5 years. I am in to traveling, keeping up on current affairs and reading inspirational works. The salon is in a upscale area of very high end/touristy city. Our clientele is trendy, high end and fashion conscious.
Our audience is trendy yet also classic and high end. The age of our clients is from about 18-55. Common brands they often wear are; Gucci, Prada, LV, Tori B., Theory, etc.. We have women and men clients both and are in a eclectic loft space.
I am unsure if it should all be written in a horizontal fashion or staggered. I know that I definitely do not want the letters to squiggly or to delicate looking. I want the letters to be clean, noticeable and get your attention. The salon is on the 2nd floor of the building so the sign will have to be noticeable and eye catching. I am often fond of block letters or typewriter looking letters. I am unsure if I want the letters to be all caps or not. The colors that I think that I will be using are dark brown, white and slate blue. I am unsure if the word "boutique" will be used considering I do not want the logo to be to lengthy. However I am fond of the entire name and would like to see both options.
I WILL use this logo for a sign and use the logo for everything; website, business cards, sign, letterhead etc.
Also I need the logo to be in vector format, like photoshop or illustrator for the file format.
