This project is a lifetime labor of love - It's my third company after successfully exiting the first one and concurrently running the 2nd one. We focus on empowering youth through media, entertainment, and technology and Uday.com will be our learning portal for the audiences outside of high school and college students.
We want to embody that same youthful spirit we use for our other brand, Live On Campus, while capturing the heart and spirit of our founder, Uday, in a character or logo which is simple, compelling, and, ideally, timeless. Apple is a cliche, but their design sensibility mixed with some of the anime cartoon characters would be ideal. The logo will be used in a variety of format from mobile and web applications to gaming and signage as well as fashion.
We are looking to interpret the tagline, "See Through Your Heart" with the intention of having people use our visual interface to navigate through images and videos which are emotionally engaging to them - they see through their heart and then process in their mind. So variations on the idea of a third eye but visualized as a heart or heart essence.
Also, the theme of this seeing heart being a portal into a much deeper and broader world can be visualized through wires which extend in many directions showing the vast possibilities as well as connectedness (imagine the roots of a tree or dna helixes).
