SparkSignals is a new marketing site targeting small businesses and startups. Orly (that's me!) enjoys working with talented designers and has worked at companies such as eBay, Y! and LinkedIn (feel free to see my profile under Orly Keren). I'm looking for someone who appreciates clean lines, believes less is more (a minimalist if you will) while creating something that will pop.
Target Audience: Startups and Small Businesses.
Tagline: Helping businesses ignite conversations and build relationships with customers.
Offering: marketing services
Objective: Website objective is to have a presence on the web. Logo will be used on both web and print material.
Color Palette: suggest warm tones, oranges, red – supports the theme or meaning of Spark (but recommendations welcome)
Themes & Definition:
Definition: igniting something, creating a spark, light, a burst of light/ energy
a luminous disruptive electrical discharge / something that sets off a sudden force / to set off in a burst of activity / To set in motion; activate
To rouse to action; spur / “sparkler” candles, fireworks
Theme: sparking something, setting something in motion, to create a relationship, to send a warm, positive, happy upbeat signal.
Design Options: straight text treatment (like Google, Facebook, eBay)
Or text treatment with mark.
Ultimately would like the logo to lend itself to a favacon as well, or can be leveraged to be used as an avatar on social media sites such as Twitter.
Please visit sparksignals.com for the feel of the site. The current image of a lady on the homepage is a placeholder only and needs to be swapped with a visual (tbd).
Happy to answer any additional questions. Look forward to seeing compelling designs and work with you!
