Need a new sports-related logo for our OFFICIALS ASSOCIATION

Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association (GLOA)

The Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association (GLOA) has recruited, trained, and assigned lacrosse referees for boys youth and high school lacrosse in the state of Georgia for the last 7 years.

For those not familar with the sport... Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing team sports in the United States. Youth participation in the sport has grown over 500% since 1999 to nearly 250,000 players.

This fast moving sport has exploded in the state of Georgia at the youth and high school levels. More background information about lacrosse is here:

99% of our audience is male lacrosse/sports fans.

Think lacrosse referees, lacrosse players (youth, high school, and adult levels), lacrosse coaches, and lacrosse parents.

We need the final logo design in three formats:
1. EPS (Vector)
2. PSD (layered RGB file)
3. JPEG (Hi-Resolution, 300 dpi)

The winning designer must agree to transfer all rights to the final winning design to Georgia Lacrosse Officials Association, Inc.

WANTS:
A. A simple, but effective and unique logo that could be used in a variety of formats:
Apparel (i.e. embroidered hats, golf shirts, silk-screened t-shirts)
Online on our web site
Misc. print materials
B. 2 or 3 color (max.) logo
C. It doesn't have to only have the "GLOA" letters, but those letters should be visible somewhere.

DON'T WANTS:
A. Cartoons
B. Must not use clip art or imitate other web site logos
C. Any feminine colors
D. 3-D Logo
E. Fixed Background Color. (We would like to be able to use this logo on both light and dark colored backgrounds.)
