The logo must be versatile and detailed enough to be able to be used for anything from a letter head to a huge outdoor sign.
Here are the particulars :
1) The famous 'big rock' glacial erratic, in its classic 2 large-but-adjoining pieces must be present in some form or fashion (as the back drop perhaps?). Again, google Okotoks alberta big rock and see what comes up for history and pics.
2) The famous snake and sceptre, like my human medical doctor counterparts have, should make an appearance. However, in the veterinary medicine world, it is a single snake (vs 2 for MD's) and there is a big 'V' encompassing the snake and sceptre.
3) A cool dog sillhouette and cool cat sillhouette (and perhaps a tiny horse but not mandatory - my practice is only 5% horses). These 'sillhouettes' do not necessarily need to be sillhouettes. They can be full side views, heads only, bending around the big rock etc. Also, they can be 'cartoony' or more professional sharp edged. We are going for 'warm and fuzzy' for the whole picture. Think along the lines of a coyotee happily howling at the full moon on a warm summer night, behind a huge glacial rock. But think more 'domesticated' coyotees. An again, warm and fuzzy. But professional also.
4) The name Big Rock Animal Clinic can be optional in the logo, I'd like to see various designs with and without it. Thanks! And have fun!
