To create a corporate logo for the Victoria Police Football Club.
The logo should have a police and football (Aussie Rules) reference. We are non-profit club that raises money for charity.
A sample drawing is ready to be forwarded to those interested in taken on project, drawing includes the following elements:
A chequer band 'V' represents “Victoria” and an Aussie Rules football forms a 'P' for “Police”, so its like a ball is bouncing making a 'VP' (Victoria Police). This is bouncing on the Victoria Police badge which is on an angle, almost flat. Hope that makes sense.

The VPFC is a non-profit club. Players and officials are not paid and donate their time and efforts.
The club was formed in 1907 and our most recent research has found photos of the 1913 team, which are
now proudly displayed in the Victoria Police Centre. We are the oldest police sporting club at present.
We have been involved in numerous community projects and charity matches throughout the years
supporting and raising thousands of dollars for various charities including the Bluey Day Foundation
'supporting children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses across Victoria', The Royal Children’s
Hospital, Tigers in the community (Disadvantage youth in the Collingwood and Richmond areas), The
Salvation Army, Oxfam, Movember (Men’s health issues), Very Special Kids (Caring for terminally ill children)
and the Blue Ribbon Foundation.
The VPFC competes in the National Police Football Championships each year. Each year in October, our
team travels to play against other police football teams including Western Australia, South Australia,
Tasmania, Queensland and New South Wales. This year the Championships were held in Melbourne
between October 5th-October 11th, 2008. The VPFC proudly competes for a number of highly respected
trophies. The “Tynan - Eyre Memorial Trophy”, is retained by the winner of the Victoria vs South Australia
match. The trophy, in memory of police members Steven TYNAN and Damian EYRE, feloniously slain at
Prahran in 1988, is a great motivation for all teams involved and is a trophy that we cherish.
The “Silk - Miller Memorial Trophy”, introduced to the carnival in 1998, is awarded to the winner of the
Victoria vs Western Australia match. Many of our players and staff knew these police officers personally and
take much pride in playing for this title.
