WIN Detergent
WIN Detergent is specially formulated to get the stinky smell out of athletic apparel. It's ideal for runners & cyclists; for team uniforms; for yoga and indoor workout apparel.
This contest is for a set of 5 images that will be used in Facebook advertising. The reason I'm asking for 5 images is so that we have brand consistency in our advertising while focusing on different audiences.
This contest will have 1 winner, selected based on the best set of 5 images. Please submit all 5 images together in one submission, stacked vertically.
The objective of the ads will be
1)To introduce people to the notion that they can use a different detergent for their athletic apparel
2)To entice them to click on the link and purchase a bottle of WIN by offering a $1 off coupon for Amazon. (http://www.amazon.com/windetergent)
Each image will be used in a different ad on Facebook. Each ad will include a discount code in the text that appears below the ad. Each ad will target different audiences, as described below.
Each image should be 1200x628. However, since many people will see the ad on a smartphone, the images should shrink well, and should not rely on fine detail. Images can have text, but should not be text heavy. (https://www.facebook.com/business/a…er-claims/)
All images should have the WIN Logo embedded somewhere. Up to you how large and where.
You can use stock photography; my goal is to find the most compelling images. My budget for licensing is $150 across the 5 images.
I have included a mockup of our new web site, which hasn't been implemented yet. If you're aiming for design consistency with the new web site, please use this mockup, not the current web site. I have also included the fonts used in the new web site, so you can use consistent fonts for any text.
If you win, you'll need to provide:
a)PSD file for each of the 5 images, with any text as separate layers so that text can be edited. If you use a stock photo, insert a watermarked version.
b)Any fonts that you use that are not fonts that I've provided.
c)Links to any stock photos, so I can get a licensed version.
Here are the details for the 5 images /ads:
1)Team Sports: appeal to Mom with kids who play football, soccer, hockey, etc. Get the stink out of your kids uniforms. Their uniforms stink -- mom to the rescue. She does laundry every week, and these uniforms smell a lot worse than everything else she's washing. She doesn't want her kids to be embarrassed by their smelly clothes.
2)Running: appeal to young adults who wear running outfits for their everyday runs. Running 3-4 days a week generates a lot of stinky laundry. Running clothes are expensive, so you want to care for them well. This target audience (young, single or recently married, interested in fitness) are typically doing their own laundry.
3)Yoga: appeal to women 25-45, who wear yoga clothes both in the yoga studio and as casual wear. They look good and relaxed and fit and healthy. They want to smell good and healthy also. The last thing they want is to be self-conscious that their clothes smell.
4)Cycling: appeal more to men than women. Cyclists wear expensive gear for their rides, and typically ride 3-4 days a week. Sometimes they ride an indoor trainer. They often ride in groups & clubs, and part of cycling is showing off your bling. You don't want to be the one that everyone avoids because you smell.
5)Crossfit / gym: appeal to people who work out indoors lifting weights and doing strength exercises. They sweat extensively. They're less likely to wear workout specific clothes, but they're working out to look good. They don't want to smell like the locker room! This audience is more male than female, but the ad should appeal to both genders.
Our biggest marketing challenge is letting people know that such a thing as Sports Detergent exists, and that there is a solution for stinky workout gear. Your work will help us create a new, niche category of laundry detergent.
