So You Wanna Buy a Franchise?
I am in the process of writing and recording a how to book for people interested in buying a restaurant franchise. Opening a franchise restaurant location is sizable investment. The process for building a successful restaurant can be overwhelming not only to someone just starting out, but also to someone who has done it before.
With my How-To guide "So You Wanna Buy a Franchise?" I hope to share my experience and strategies that have helped make my franchise restaurants successful.
Anyone thinking about buying and opening a franchise restaurant, people looking for a career change, or people looking for an investment opportunity. These people are considering investing anywhere from $50K to $500K into opening a franchise restaurant. Our How to Guide will cost a tiny fraction of that.
I hope to find a designer that can help me grow this specific product and hopefully more like it down the road. I cannot wait to see the designs, my rough concept is as follows:
My idea would be to depict a silhouette of a person (as unisex as possible) standing on the bottom of road looking up. The road meanders through a set of hills and ends at the top at a generic stand alone restaurant with a marquee with dollar signs (think KFC, Taco Bell, In and Out Burger). A sunrise is creeping over the hills. The Title "So You Wanna Buy a Franchise?" would be incorporated into the design. (my original thinking is above the hills, but I am open to anything)
The image I described would be a little abstract and as simple and clean as possible. You may use 1 to 4 colors, but I would need you to create it so that it can be recreated in one color. I am aiming at a design that invokes an uplifting sense of desire to go on a life journey or an exciting new career path.
Note: see 4hourworkweek.com to get an idea of what I mean by a little abstract, their logo is perfect because it is simple, clean and captures the imagination in a very positive way.
