New label design for our best-selling shampoo/brand - Follicleanse. We are expanding the brand to include a shampoo and conditioner in two different sizes - 16 fl oz and 32 fl oz.
Follicleanse is one of the best-selling and most effective shampoos and conditioners for oily hair and scalp, itchiness, flaking, scalp irritation and inflammation and dandruff + it makes your hair look and feel great - we've sold over 500,000 in the past few years. In addition to the new size bottles, we will also have a solution for dry hair and scalp; therefore, Follicleanse 1 is the shampoo and conditioner for oily hair and scalp; Follicleanse 2 is for dry hair and scalp. Bottles will be amber...links to the bottles to be used are here...suggested label sizes are at the bottom of each product page...
The 16 fl oz bottles will have a black cap - the 32 fl oz bottles will have a pump.

OBJECTIVE: We are looking for great, creative, diverse designs. The product (and its new website) will be the target of a national media campaign. As mentioned below, needs to be high-end, authoritative, and comfortable in a dermatologists practice as well as on the shelves in big-box stores, salons, beauty supply or pharmacies. Needs to look somewhat pharma or clinical with a dash of elegance and beauty. These products really work and they need to look that way.
DESIGN NOTE A: The look and feel should be professional, somewhat clinical or pharmaceutical with accent color denoting "1" shampoo and conditioner from "2" shampoo and conditioner. Since bottles will be abmber with black caps/pumps, recommend use of black, grey, silver and/or white with use of accent colors to denote each "system" - 1 or 2. The new web site that is being built for this new branding/labeling will be green-ish. Color coding/accent for system 1 should be a healthy-looking green, system 2 should be a healthy, hydrating blue. The Follicleanse brand name should be the most prominent on all.
DESIGN NOTE B: Follicleanse 1 is for Oily To Normal Hair & Scalp. Follicleanse 2 is for Dry to Normal Hair & Scalp; all other content on the label can be greek...need place holder for product description, Directions for Use, Ingredients, Company name, address and contact info, UPC code, etc. We will need the finished design file that we can manipulate in Photoshop, etc. We will place final content, verbiage, UPC, and minor variations as necessary prior to submitting for print.
Within some of these confines, please feel free to submit anything you want - be creative. We don't want a "me too" look...need something that "wows" the consumer and builds exceptional confidence in the product. Once a basic design layout is established, it can be tweaked for the entire brand...its the design that's most important...we'll fill-in the details.
