Anabolic Health is a men’s health supplement brand dedicated to providing honest and research backed products for optimal male hormonal health and performance (optimal testosterone levels). Anabolic Health aspires to supply trusted products that men can use to fix their hormonal and reproduction problems naturally, without pharmaceuticals. We also aspire to help athletes take their performance to the next level and beyond.

We are looking for designers to work long term with us as well, we consider this contest a good way to make connections with new talent.

This label design will be reused for our whole line of supplements, so getting the general look and feel is the most important rather than what individual text on the bottle says. We need a universal design where we can make small changes in-between different products.

For this design assignment we will use one of our product ideas named: Octane (or AnabolicOctane)

This product is a powder based, low carb / high fat coffee creamer (vanilla & mocha taste, sugar free) for men, containing a spectrum of natural essential fatty acids, colostrum peptides and amino acids that all benefit testosterone and growth hormone production. To be used as a tasty performance booster in your daily cup of coffee.

You can also present a small variant of the universal design for second product idea named (if you want): CocoForce

This is a blood flow and vasodilation drink mix powder based on cacao flavanols and pomegranate. To be used as a supplement to improve ED (erectile dysfunction) as well as endurance and muscle pump.

Men in United States, aged 18-50 who are struggling with low testosterone or are seeking peak performance through maximising hormonal and physical health. Mid-high end priced product.

We want the branding and general look and feel of the label designed, basically the graphics stuff.

We are open for any creative design ideas as long as they are similar in style to the "styles we like" and work somewhat with our current graphic profile. Be creative, something completely new is welcome!

We have saved 8 label images that show styles we like, see "label designs we like” jpegs 1-8 attached.

Design wise, think this:
- We do not want to look like the typical generic fitness/bodybuilding/sports supplement line, this is IMPORTANT. Think UNIQUE NATURAL health supplement instead of testosterone/fitness supplement.

- Complexity and detail is important such as graphical elements or patterns

- Don't be afraid to come up with something completely different or radical, we want to stand out from the competition such as the referenced designs do with bright colors and/or patterns.

- You can submit rough design ideas, we are no strangers to prototyping.

- Imagery should be focused to the front of label but also welcome on the sides of label.

- Focus on white, grey, black and orange colours. Experimenting with additional colours are welcome but not needed, our core colours are white/black/orange which is the focus of our branding on website: http://www.anabolichealth.com/

- You are welcome to experiment with fonts on the label if you want, our attached logo is using fonts Montserrat and Gramond. You can rearrange the position and orientation of the logo as you see fit.

- Our brand logo does not need to be such a big part of the design. I prefer a loud product name text instead as focus.

Bottles we will use will be either slim or wide tub style black supplement bottles. See image files "mockup bottle examples” jpegs 1-4 attached.

Deliver:
- 3D mockup image presentation (the 2D image wrapped/positioned front forward on a black supplement bottle as in bottle examples)
- 2D image unwrapped, just the straight label

Formats (for final delivery): PSD (high resolution) or Illustrator files with layers preserved, JPEG preview files

The ingredient list, barcode, description text and FDA labelling you can add standard/temp text/blank box areas for in 2D unwrapped label image, we don't know the details to put here yet. We will modify label texts ourselves at a later stage since this design will also be reused with more of our different supplement products. Focus on the graphics.

Avoid images or graphical elements of people or specific ingredients on the label (we want universal design).

We do not want to look like the typical generic fitness/bodybuilding/sports supplement line, this is IMPORTANT. Think UNIQUE NATURAL health supplement instead of testosterone/fitness supplement.

Avoid real photos, simple graphical images and elements are preferred.

We want the graphics to be universal and be able to fit on all our different supplement products.

Avoid feminine design or colours, this product is aimed only at men.
Avoid images of muscle or generic bodybuilding stuff, we want a stylish unique design such as the reference images provided of what we like.

We don't know dimensions required but go for as high resolution as possible or vectors. You can judge approx dimensions required by looking at the "mockup bottle examples” jpegs that show the type of bottles we will use, labels will wrap around bottle so has to have larger horizontal width rather than vertical. We can tweak size later as long as you work in high resolution.
