Lots of solar company logos are in blues and yellows (sky and sun) and greens (environment). We like those colors, but just so you know, we are open to breaking that rule. In fact, it might help differentiate us.

Diseño de inspiración
--We prefer dark text on light backgrounds, generally, because it's more practical for printing stuff.
--We want a logo that will look good on company shirts and jackets as well as on social media sites.
--The name Corda is Russian and used to be spelled with a K. On his mom's side, he's French. His mom was born there (in Alsace on the German border)...in case that inspires any ideas.
--We want a logo that is fairly square in terms of aspect ratio so that it fits into compact areas on business cards, social media identity "photos" and so on.--
Owners are a married couple (23 years). He went to UNC Chapel Hill, she went to UC Berkeley.
--He's been in this business for 10 years as a successful franchisee of another solar panel installation company; on January 1, 2018, he decided not to renew his franchise license and, instead, to start his own company with his wife and using their family name for the business.
--She's a techy type who worked in software and Internet-related companies for 20 years. She is going to help the company expand into the energy storage market (e.g. home and small business batteries such as Tesla Powerwalls).
--Solar panel manufacturers and installers often have similar sounding names and similar logos. It can be hard to stand out from the crowd. Even our own relatives couldn't remember the name of our former franchise company because it sounded like so many other solar companies.
--We both tend toward the pragmatic / nerdy / brainy, but we have good senses of humor and are open minded.
