Pulse of the Patient is a new grass roots-driven, online social support community for anyone touched by cancer. We provide patients and caregivers with uniquely targeted and relevant user connections, valuable resources, shared experiences, and applications that help improve quality of life-focused decision-making. Our ultimate goal is to help improve the quality of life of our users while providing hope, support and a sense of empowerment during their struggle with this terrible condition.
We need a beautifully elegant, warm-toned business card that reflects hope, life, optimism and support. Our values are much in-line with Planetree (planetree.org), which places patient care as a priority. We would like our business card to communicate that our Company truly understands the patient’s challenges and frustrations and that our site is a community that is a safe, warm and comfortable environment for them to connect, network and harness support for their journey.
We believe we have a strong logo. The logo should provide guidance on the color scheme for the business card. Most people might not notice in our logo, the three dotted i's following the "e" in Pulse. This semi-hidden design is meant to suggest a support network or people holding hands, connected in the same struggle.
Though our business card needs to be warm and beautiful, it should also be simple and not crowded. In addition to the logo on the business card, there should be room on the business card for the following items:
1) Individual First and Last Name
3) Contact Phone
Other than the guidance above, designers can be extremely creative as we’re looking for something that’s catchy, unique, non-corporate and non-conventional.
