MyrtleBeachGolfTrips.com
Myrtle Beach Golf Trips is a golf tee time and package organization. The current site, myrtlebeachgolftrips.com is going to be redesigned to focus 1st on promoting news items, and then selling tee times.
Our current target audience is traveling golfers looking to visit Myrtle Beach on a dedicated golf vacation. A site currently exists (mbn.com) to focus on selling tee times. As a result this site (myrtlebeachgolftrips.com) will be updated to focus on promoting the news and lifestyle of Myrtle Beach's golfing scene.
The goal of this new design is to create a conversion-optimized site designed to drive tee time booking, quick quote submissions, and package bookings through the development and promotion of great golf content.
This will be a news/social site that 1st drives visitors to read content and then leads them through a process to book a tee time. Promoting news and social interaction
Site Statement:
Create a conversion-optimized site designed to drive tee time booking, quick quote submissions, and package bookings through the development and promotion of great golf content.
Site KPIs/Conversions:
- Tee Time Bookings (revenue and booking volume)
- Quick Quote Submissions (form submissions)
Home Page Strategy:
- Create a conversion funnel that drives visitors to a conversion through interaction with great content
- Create more of a "news-centric" content display that allows visitors to interact with articles, videos, social photos
- Provide omni-present conversion tools for quotes, tee times, packages, and reviews
- Development of a mobile-first layout recognizing a majority of users will only see the site on a phone's display
- home page should have a booking widget somewhere (rounds from XX, date, golfers, submit button)
Page 1: Home Page
- Reference rough wireframe. NOTE: wireframe is just for very rough reference. Design should be unique, don’t just clean up wireframe.
- Rich dropdown nav is important, similar to what is on pgatour.com
- home page should have a booking widget somewhere (rounds from XX, date, golfers, submit button)
Page 2: News Details Page
- Reference rough wireframe
Page 3: Course Profile Page (no wireframe)
- This will need to contain the same basic content that you would find in the main area and tabs at https://www.myrtlebeachgolftrips.co…foot-love/. Other similar pages would be at https://www.mbn.com/courses/love-at…oot-resort and https://www.myrtlebeachgolf.com/gol…golf-club/.
- create something new that has this same type of content but in a unique way
Page 4: Course Index Page
- This is a page that will allow users to shop for the course they want. examples of this type of page are at https://www.mbn.com/courses, https://www.myrtlebeachgolf.com/courses/ and https://www.myrtlebeachgolftrips.com/
- create something new that has this same type of content but in a unique way
Important elements on this include:
- Intro copy
- small course image
- four rates per day
- course ranking
- filter options for price, ranking, location
- map locations (optional)
Don’t just match wireframes, develop unique design
The home page design is most critical and we would like to see that 1st as both a full desktop and mobile design.
Color schemes for golf sites typically are centered around blues and greens (green grass, etc) with possibly bold accent colors for calls to actions.
