There are two separate pages to design, they should be thematically similar. The main page should emphasize the general website layout and navigation. The landing page should simply focus on conversions.
1. The main page should introduce people to the Primal Play concept, with an easy way to sign up to the list, but with the main focus being on the content available on the website: videos, blog posts, how-to articles, etc. Customers have many choices on where to go next, on the main page of the website.
2. The landing page should be specific to conversions: how to get people to sign up for the primal play service. There is only one purpose to this page.
On both pages, promote where primal play has been seen (to provide social proof): Men’s Health, Women’s Fitness, Top Santé, Elle, Men’s Fitness, The Daily Express, Health and Fitness magazine, and BBC London radio.

Something like http://kyle-maynard.com/ in terms of the main page layout, but with better presentation values.
This has a nice professional look. http://fatburningman.com/
This is a good model to work from, but the page doesn't need to be this long. http://fatburningman.com/fat-burning-tribe/b-h2/
This is a much simpler example, the proper landing page design is probably somewhere between these two in terms of complexity: http://jordanbelfort.com/
